KC868-A32 and EspEasy firmware - voyo - 05-24-2025 Hello! Does anyone have experience with EspEasy (www.letscontrolit.com) firmware running on this device ? I recently bought A32 with intention to use it for my roller blinds, but I have some issues with KCK firmware (will create separate thread for my questions). Anyway - I managed to upload espeasy firmware, it runs - but WiFi connection is not working. On serial console it prints: 03.872 : (265688) Info : WIFI : Arduino wifi status: WL_STOPPED 254 ESPeasy internal wifi status: DISCONNECTED 03.885 : (260688) Info : Webserver: start 05.229 : (260428) Info : WD : Uptime 0 ConnectFailures 0 FreeMem 260560 WiFiStatus: WL_STOPPED 254 ESPeasy internal wifi status: DISCONNECTED I tried few firmware files but with no luck. So question is - is this board require some special setting to enable wifi ? Something like set some gpio or something else ? RE: KC868-A32 and EspEasy firmware - sophiasmith - 07-30-2025 Hi! I tried ESPEasy on the A32 too—you don’t need special GPIOs, but make sure your WiFi settings (SSID/pass) are correct and try a clean flash with the latest ESPEasy stable; sometimes older builds break WiFi on these chips. RE: KC868-A32 and EspEasy firmware - coplime - 08-14-2025 Hey, Before digging too deep, I’d suggest enabling verbose boot logging and checking the pin assignments for WIFI_EN or CH_PD. If the board needs one of these held HIGH for WiFi, and ESPeasy isn’t doing it automatically, that would explain the WL_STOPPED status. |
