communication between 2 boards - guycaluwaerts - 02-07-2026

I have kc868-A16 and kc868-AP board, both connected with ethernet cable to the router. Both has their own IP-address.

Is it possible without using homeassistant to have an input on one board to control an output on the other board ?

With a long push on a button on input 1 from board KC868-A16, all outputs on KC868-a16 and KC868-AP has to go OFF.

Is this possible ? I cannot find an example in the description how to do this.

sure, they can work without home assistant. just download KCS firmware, use by IFTTT create AUTOMATION. send customize protocol to different board. Here is KCS v2 firmware online guide: https://www.kincony.com/esp32-kcsv2-firmware.html
