What is the purpose and way to use (in esphome) the D1 and D2 dry contacts ?

Can I use D1 and D2 socket for input or output.(Wiegand reader)

D1 , D2 only use for INPUT.
you can use GPIO-1 and GPIO-2 on the image for wiegand.

I already use.I have 2 Wiegand readers. So if D1 and D2 are inputs, I use them for the Wiegand reader, right?

yes, wiegand signal is mono direction, now i remember it.
But we added an optocoupler at the digital input circuit, it needs to be tested whether the speed is appropriate.
