Hi, I'm looking for a solution connecting photo-electric (laser) distance meter to KC868-A8. Can I use ADC A1 or A2 port? I don't have the device yet so if you have any advice would be great otherwise I found the one in picture. Can I use this model with some resistor connected in serial to achieve 0-5V? Can you also provide ESP32 coding to configure those ports in Home Assistant please? Thank you.[

the sensor output is BINARY SENSOR type, not analog output. you can connect to KC868-A8's digital input port.
Contacting the supplier and he confirmed it is a sensor only. It says measuring distance but it is not measuring anything. They description is misleading. Thank you for giving me a heads up.
Anyway, I need to measure the distance to a small moving point. Moving edge of garage door to be exact. Would you happen to know any solution? Device that can be used?
