KC868-A64 use ESP32 chip, NOT "ESP32-S3", you have chose wrong chip type.

Go to Expressif website and follow their instructions using python and command prompt. so much easier. I had same issue.
Just install python and esptools, hook up your usb cable, and cut and paste their script..
