Repurpose A16 outputs as inputs - Pratty - 11-18-2024
I have a Kincony A16 running esphome. I already have reed switches to the dry contact inputs. Can I repurpose the output GPIO's as inputs? Is there another way to extend the board to have 8 more inputs?

1. you can config ESPHome yaml let digital input TOGGLE output. another way, download KCS v2 firmware, set IFTTT for INPUT and OUTPUT.
2. you can add KinCony DI8 8 channel i2c extend module: https://www.kincony.com/i2c-io-expander-input-board.html
