RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - admin - 02-07-2025 after you tested with win11 new PC, give us a feedback. The devices use a CH340 USB serial chip, so you need to get Windows to install the necessary drivers for it in order to communicate with it. If you just plug it in and there aren't any CH340 drivers installed it won't work. You can check via Windows device manager whether the device is recognised. RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - admin - 02-07-2025 because you are using Win7, if Win10 and Win11 OS, already include USB driver. RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - twostar - 02-07-2025 When I used it with Win10 I had to get Windows to explicitly install the drivers - it recognised an unknown device and asked whether I wanted it to search for drivers to install, but it wasn't supported automatically. I installed the CH340 USB driver and set the baud rate on Com3 to 115200. I started the DownloadTool and waited for several minutes before it failed. What am I doing wrong? RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - admin - 02-26-2025 change to use a high quality usb-c cable. RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - Error7 - 02-27-2025 Ok, today I tried a high quality USB C cable connected to a USB 3 port on my PC, this failed so I tried connecting to a USB 2 port on my PC. This also failed. However, I noticed that the progress bar goes all the way to the end before giving the error. The USB ports are set to 115200 bits, 8 Data bits, No parity and 1 Stop bit. Is this correct? I've also noticed that it displays NO XMC flash detected! RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - admin - 02-27-2025 contact with whatsapp number: +86-15381188302 we use ANYDESK remote control your computer to help you. maybe you have select wrong firmware BIN file. it should be "KCS_KC868_A16_V2.2.10.bin". i don't know why you are download "demo_en.bin"? this this file??? RE: Can't Connect Over LAN - Error7 - 02-28-2025 OK I managed to flash board with "KCS_KC868_A16_V2.2.10.bin" but when I tried to connect with the UDP Scan List it couldn't find my board. I did already set the LAN to 192.168.1.xxx. Then I noticed that you had uploaded "KCS_KC868_A16_V2.2.12.bin" so I removed the "KCS_KC868_A16_V2.2.10.bin" and re-flashed with "KCS_KC868_A16_V2.2.12.bin" but I still can't connect to the board with the UDP Scan List tool. I can't use ANYDESK because the LAN I am using to set up the board doesn't have internet access. |
