More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - classiccars - 03-20-2025 KC868-A16v3 I would like to connect more than 3 DHT11 Sensors but can configure only GPIO47,48,38 in the panel How can I activate GPIO39, GPIO40, GPIO41 ? Or can I connect more than one DHT11 to a GPIO? RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - admin - 03-20-2025 1. now 1 gpio only use for 1 sensor. maybe in future we will update it. 2. now can't use by GPIO39, GPIO40, GPIO41, but i think next update, we can enable to use it. RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - xarouli5 - 03-28-2025 Is it the same for 868-AIO? Can only use tp1 or tp2? RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - admin - 03-28-2025 KC868-AIO only use by 2 gpios. RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - noahwill - 04-02-2025 You can activate GPIO39, GPIO40, and GPIO41 by checking the firmware settings for any options to enable these pins. RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - VirginiaiGrace - 10-08-2025 Interesting question! Regarding the DHT11 sensors, you can't connect multiple directly to a single GPIO pin due to signal interference. RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - admin - 10-09-2025 KCS v3 next update will support one gpio with multi ds18b20 sensors. RE: More than 3 DHT11 Sensors GPIO connection - VirginiaiGrace - 10-10-2025 Interesting question! You're right, limited GPIOs are a pain. For the KC868-A16v3, check if multiplexing options exist in the software/firmware to utilize GPIO 39, 40, 41. Alternatively, consider a different sensor like the DHT22 for better accuracy, or explore addressable sensors on a single data line for future projects, a bit like navigating a challenging level in Moto X3M. No, you cannot connect DHT11 to same GPIO |
