A32 Pro Strange Behaviour - v1rtus - 03-20-2025

Hi,

I've encountered two issues with my Kincony A32 Pro controllers. They're both installed in the same shield and connected to the same router via a CAT6 cable.

The first issue is that both controllers have the same local API address (check attached photo). I've tried several methods to change it, including replacing the router, but haven't had success. When I assign a static IP address to one of the controllers, I can't connect to it after a restart.

The second issue is that on one of the controllers, a few relays have stopped working intermittently. I can't turn them off, and they remain constantly on. These relays aren't under heavy load; they're only controlling light bulbs, with a 3.15A fuse placed before the relay.

Please assist.

1. what KCS firmware version you are using? this is newest version (V3.8.0):https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7783

2. If your load has a switching power supply, its instantaneous current is very large. It is recommended to add an extended relay or contactor. You can try to knock on the relay to test whether the relay contacts will release.
