KC868-A16 - IP & PORT ?? Important !!!
I would like to control my KC868-A16 (V1.6) module using my mobile phone within my local network (without Internet access).
When setting up the "K-Box Smart" (version 2.0.9) software, I’m asked to enter the IP address and PORT XXXX
The module is connected via LAN cable to my Fritz!Box 7530 router.
I was able to find the IP address in the router menu, but I’m not sure which port number I should enter in the app or where to find it.
Could someone please explain:
which port I should use for the KC868-A16, and
whether a port configuration is needed in the Fritz!Box
if I only want to use the system within my local network (without Internet access)?

1. do you have downloaded KCS v2 firmware by USB-C cable firstly? after downloaded, you can use kincony scan deivce tool to find the IP.

Kincon_SBC.exe only use for KC868-COLB controller.
if you are using KC868-A16. you can open your web browser to login KCS monitor webpage.

I want to diplay the temperatur in the Tablet, as well as the digital Inputs. I can already See this in Monitor.

i suggest you use home assistant software, so that can monitor on pad.

Hello, I have the following problem.
Hardware KC Board Model A16v3, Software Version v3.15.0
In connection with HomeAssistant (installation method Home Assistant OS Core 2025.12.5
Supervisor 2025.12.3 Operating System 16.3 Frontend 20251203.3)
With a simple, single automation for troubleshooting ==> Input 0.0 sets output Q0.0. The output is set to Q0.0 for about 5 seconds and then drops. At the same time, MQTT (HA): disconnected. After about 5 seconds, the system is OK again and, for example, the temperature values are read/displayed correctly again. Overload from relays is not the cause, as the same error occurs without any load. I am an absolute beginner in this area. I can’t make any progress otherwise. Chatggp… ??? Thank you very much in advance.

please download newest KCS v3.18.0 firmware: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8796
then enable mqtt auto discovery in KCS webpage. A16v3 will integrate to home assistant.

Loaded KCS
(Loading .bin-files looks ok)
Running Scan_device
Do not find the KC868 or the IP-adress.
No lights at the network-connector!
Try to factory reset with >10sek. at download-button and/or reset-button
Is there any other way to factory-reset?
Is there any other way to get it to AP mode?

which board you are using? A16 or A16v3? green or blue pcb?
which KCS firmware you have downloaded?
