kWh resolution - molelightn - 12-30-2025 Hi, in the modbus specifiaction from N30 it is mentioned that Energy Sensor from BL0910 has a resolution of 1kWh only. Is there any way to get a more accurat reading? For power circuits with low consumption it is misleading to see 0kWh consumption on end of day. Does the BL0910 has a possibility to report for example 0,1kWh as resolution for Energy Consumption? Thank you. br RE: kWh resolution - admin - 12-31-2025 BL0910 only can use by 1KWH, can't use 0.1KWH. about consumption data bug, we will update firmware soon. RE: kWh resolution - admin - 12-31-2025 1: update ARM CPU by USB-RS485 adapter, how to download firmware , see here: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8863 2: update KCS v3.18.2, how to download firmware , see here: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8864 3: if your energy data is a very large number, first time, please use the new PC software to clear to 0. here is PC monitor software: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8406 just download newest version: APPV1.0.25.1231 https://www.kincony.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=8886 RE: kWh resolution - Painy - 02-16-2026 Can't you fix this with software? For example, in ESHPhome config integration sensor rather than using BL0910 hardware for kWh resolution? BL0910 => Hardware solution => resolution limited to 1kWh ESPHhome /kincony => software sollution => has current, Voltage and time => Resolution possible 0.001kWh Can you change example ESPHhome config to include this and/or update KCS software for better resolution? I think i can do it in ESP home, but maybe this is usefull for all users? RE: kWh resolution - admin - 02-16-2026 after China New Year holidays , we will check it. RE: kWh resolution - Painy - 02-17-2026 Thank you. Have a great newyear ! RE: kWh resolution - admin - 02-18-2026 The calculation of electrical energy is achieved by integrating the BL0910 chip to obtain a count value, which is 1KWH units. There is no way to change it. RE: kWh resolution - Vega - 02-28-2026 Completly useless this 1kWh resolution for home usage, will take forever to get a reading. More suitable if you have +100A loads. Waisted a lot of money for someting what looked nice on paper, next time add the specs and resolutions so we know before we buy. |
