Current and Power not adding up for some sensors - edalquist - 04-12-2026

I'm working on getting my N60 wired up. I'm using the ESPHome YAML plus firmware update from https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9157

The listed watts does not line up with the calculated Volts * Amps for each sensor and some of them are significantly off.

Looking at just some sensors

L1 1 - 0.135A * 124.98V = 16.8723W   - 10.1W shown (6W low)
L1 2 - 0.664A * 124.98V = 82.98672W - 82.1W shown (accurate)
L1 3 - 0.134A * 124.98V = 16.74732W - 8.9W shown (7W low)
L1 4 - 2.791A * 124.98V = 348.81918W - 202W shown (146W low)
L1 5 - 1.138A * 124.98V = 142.22724W - 130.8W shown (12W low)

Here is the exact ESPHome config I'm using:

can you download KCS v3 firmware, compare the data.

Will do, is https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8864 the latest version?

I finally had a chance to change to the kincony firmware and am still very incorrect Watt calculations. See the attached screenshots.

I'll see if I can do some measurement of actual current on a circuit this weekend and see which of the values (amps or current) is correct.

what CT sensor you are using? take a photo. whether bought from KinCony?

RE: Current and Power not adding up for some sensors - edalquist - 05-04-2026

I believe these are from KinCony.

I used a clamp-around multimeter to spot check circuits. The amp measurement in the KinCony software webui was always pretty close, so it seems to be some sort of issue with the Watts calculation.

I also noticed that the power factor for the various connections is all over the place if you take a look at monitor.pdf

I'm in the US with split-phase power, my wiring is:
- Monitor 1: Phase A Solar Inverter
- Monitor 4: Phase B Solar Inverter
- Monitor 2 & 3: Phase A External Power
- Monitor 5 & 6: Phase B External Power

Do you have CT clamp's order number, we will confirm.

RE: Current and Power not adding up for some sensors - edalquist - 05-04-2026

Order #3221 12x 20A
Order #3132 18x 20A, 2x 50A, 4x 60A

You can set separate calibration coefficients for each channel.
