[SOLVED] N10 - no KWH shown - Lattkincon - 05-01-2026

Hi, I have just received my N10 and its all working - except the kwh is always zero in homeassistant and on the "monitor" page on kc3

I have tried the ESPhome firmware and the KC3 firmware > MQTT > Homeassistant with the same results - screenshots below for reference

When i used the ESPhome firmware i used this config file which mentions fixing the kwh  https://www.kincony.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=9373

I found this post - https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=9107, and tried flashing via USBC port but it will not work - must this use the RS485?

Thank you

do you have downloaded newest ARM CPU firmware by USB-RS485 adapter?

No, i was trying to load the AMD firmware using the USB C port on the board (same way i put ESPHome on there) - I did not have a USB-RS485 adapter - but I have just ordered one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006071798894.html

What are the wire connections from the USB-RS485 adapter to the N10? please

connect USB-RS485 adapter to N10's RS485 port. Then download newest firmware:

Yes thank you - but i am meaning which cable / connector on the USB goes to A and B on the N10 RS485?

so for example

PHP Code:
USB screw         |   N10
(2nd from left) =    A
(4th from left} =    B

A-A B-B

Thank you - this worked Smile
  • wired A - A and B - B on usb adapter
  • connected via RS485
  • loaded firmware N10203060_KU_V20_260324SP
  • i now have kwh showing in homeassistant as expected

Thanks for your help - maybe make a short youtube video on this - as with the N10 it will mostly be homeassistant / private users and stock with have the old firmware on and seem not to work
