OLED display for A4
#1
Hi,

Is it possible to add an I2C OlED display to the A4 via using the 433MHz PINs? On 1.2.4 board I have those available...

Maybe I could add the display to the DIN plastic enclosure creating a cutout with a dremel and fixing the display with screws, so that some important info could be shown there...

P3 has looking the board from head on:
VCC ? ? GND
Where should the SDA and SCL be connected?

KC868-A4 no i2c extender on PCB. if you want to use I2C, if you not used RF sender pin and IR receiver pin. i think you can remove the components, use two pins for i2c SDA and SCL pins.

Thanks, okay. So basically I would need to also desolder SMD parts from the board?

just remove IR receiver, it's DIP part , not SMD part, easy to remove.

Thanks, okay. That I can do defintiely. So one of the I2C data pins will come from the removal of IR-R and the other from the P3 header?

I guess there are no screens that I could connect (even other than the oled1366) without adjustment right? So there is no easier way?
