KC868-COLB - How to Connect by Ethernet and DHCP
#1
Exclamation
I want to connect the KC868-COLB to my own network (I have router and DHCP server) with ethernet only. The KC868 should get a DHCP lease from our server OR I need to set the static IP somewhere.

I do not want to use WiFi.

I tried to follow instructions here and I am not successful.

Is TCP Client mode what I need?

When I hold down "Ethernet Mode" button the LED cycles through only 2 options:

1. yellow and white LED
2. yellow, white and blue LED

I can connect to server via WiFi (ssid LPT230) but I do not know if I can change settings for Ethernet.

I have a video of the LEDs but I cannot attach video files here.

Thank you.

Hold on "ethernet" button, when the [yellow and white LED] all is ON, release it, then work mode in “UDP” and IP by DHCP mode.
now your controller maybe is STATIC ip 192.168.1.200

Oh thank you that worked.

Can I turn off the Wifi somehow?

Okay thank you. Now I have a new problem.

I did successfuly configure ethernet with static ip one time. Then I was playing with some settings (I don't remember what) and I broke it.

For some reason I can no longer connect to Ethernet.

I press and hold the Ethernet Mode button until the lights are Yellow and White.

Then I wait.

Then I connect ethernet, and when I do that, the Yellow and Blue lights turn on.

I noticed that when the ethernet cable is connected you cannot change the Ethernet Mode, which is probably good.

Anyway I already tried to Restore to Factory Setting (from wifi interface) and now I still cannot get the ethernet to work.

I cannot ping 192.168.1.200 and there is not web access either.  My unifi switch also said for a moment that it connected with ip 192.168.1.100.

How can I fix this now?
