I'm away from my project again for a few days, but I managed to quickly connect one cable before I left. I managed to connect one CT sensor and now I see that this channel even shows some Amp consumption on Current_1.
But same channel Power and Energy = 0 ?
Do I understand correctly that since I don't have L1 and N1 attached, it won't be able to calculate power and energy data?
And If I'm right, then since I have three-phase current (380V), I have to connect each phase separately, i.e. L1, L2 and L3
and in turn, since I have three different phases, it would be most correct to measure the devices that are behind the first phase in the first part and the devices that are behind the second phase in the second part, then the calculation will be most accurate, although at the same time the differences in phase currents are minimal, i.e. 0.0x Volts, it does not make much difference which phase is behind which sector to measure

Will it be possible to you can add in official FW support for recording the peak voltage, current, power and expose that through modbus registers? Plus add "clear peak values" modbus register where we can write a "1" to clear out the peak values. It would be great to monitor the spikes that can cause the breakers trigger. Also a great thing that implement for this type of devices would be support for LXI protocol so it could be used with software like this one: https://github.com/lxi-tools/lxi-tools

The peak values I think is most important here as it will be beneficial many users. The LXI support I will implement on my own but having it also out of the box would be beneficial.

Question regarding the ARM with modbus server, does it read the values from BL09010 in the loop or does it read for each request from modbus?

Greetings,
We recently bought a kincony M30 unit and would like to measure industrial power three phase consumptions. We have 4 breakers rated 630A, 630A, 340A and 320A. Is it possible to use 2000/1 current transformers for this measurement? if not, can we use a higher transformation ratio like 3000/1, 4000/1 or 5000/1 and adjust in software to keep the secondary current low?

I've read in others threads that 2000/1 CTs are okay but that the M30 limit is 50ma of secondary current or 1V.

Any workaround to make this measurement possible?

Thanks!

Pleased to have the M30 all up and running as expected on a dozen-plus DC loads (12V and 24V). But a few of the loads are over 10A - some as high as 30A - and I'd still like to monitor them.

It looks to me like the KinCony CTs are only for alternating current? (https://shop.kincony.com/products/25a-cu...eter-board)

Is there a DC option? If so, is there one I can purchase directly? Or a specific part / part-number to look for?

Alternatively, would I be better off trying to interface RS485 to a separate device of some sort? I see options for JXT CTs with RS485 as another option.

Thank you.

I need to use other CT with different CT ratio.
In ESPHome I can Change IT.
But need IT in the Webpage (stand alone use).
IS IT planed to integrate IT in the UI?
Or IS the source Code available?

Looking to use an MB board (KinCony ESP32 Battery Monitor) to monitor DC circuit power.

I can't tell from the specification if it's 8A per channel or 8A for all 16 channels?

And it's unclear if it can be different voltage on every channel? Can I have 12VDC on one channel and 24VDC on another channel and have correct measurements on both?

thank you.
