Is there any possibility of RS485 connection ?
A8 serial port use by USB for download. suggest use ethernet for communication.
Is there any possibility of having a new version of KC868-A8 with an RS485 port in the future?
now we are designing A6, 6 channel relay , will have RS485, ok?
I think yes

I was looking for a generic controller for my home automation that I can use with Tasmota and Home Assistant.

The requirements are:
1) Stable connection with an ethernet port
2) At least 4x Relay for controlling 220v lights, etc
3) At least 4x-opto-isolated inputs for alarm sensors, switches, etc.
4) Rs485 with modbus for energy meters, etc ..

I think it is the best for my purposes
if must need RS485, KC868-A6 in furture is best for you.
