hi,

IRBSQ is connected in 2 diffren places as i understand from schema. in Q1 and Q5 base  and get the signal from IO2.

my question is  IO2 has pullup ?

the reception distance is smaller than the remote control. is there a way to improve it ?

also i have v1.2 diagram and v1.3 hardware. please share latest diagram

gilad
IO2 not have pullup resistance. the link of diagram is newest, just check for the link.
answer is missing. what is the meaning of IRBSQ ? where should the IRBSQ (base pin of the Q5 should be connected)?
we trying to analyze the IR signals from an unknown device which we need to integrate with our system.
IRBSQ you not need to see, because the AG board without Q5, Q5 is null, it's design for a big power triode for send IR signal large current. it's a backup way for send IR signal.

if you want to analysis IR signal, you should use GPIO23, it's IR receiver pins, so that can dump IR signal from other device.
our signal is not reaching 2m distance and we would like to be able to use higher current if possible.
my board version is 1.3 and has the Q5.

how can i try and use it Q5 for my setup also ?
see this diagram, it already have used in V1.3 PCB.
