yes, now the "KCS" also have STRING ASCII protocol, it's as same as you found. it can use by KC868-A8S, here is protocol details: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2530

Dear,
Maybe i am wrong, but MODUBUS RTU is nor working well on KCS bin file 1.0.15.
Trying commands shown on protocol document but but some works, some other NOT working.
I have to load version 1.0.10...?
please advice.
