KC868-A8 TCP -Server - Dm81 - 06-19-2025
Hello
I configured a KC868-A8 as a TCP Server and I am having the following problem
if I send the command to turn ON and OFF a relay for 8 or 9 times (some times only 3 or 4 times) it works but after that the server does not respond anymore
firmware is v2.2.13
power supply is original
I also tried to check the communication with wireshark and when the communication stops wireshark shows as in the attached figure
kc868-A8 ip is 192.168.1.64
suggestions?

I send RELAY-SET-255,8,0 - RELAY-SET-255,8,1
I have no problem with other device like KC868-H32 or H16, they work every time

do you have disable others protocol, only enabled "TCP Server" protocol?

What is the time interval between each command? at least need 500ms. Are you sending commands quickly and continuously?

KC868-A8 controls a light, sometimes it works 2 or 3 time, after that the servers stops to reply to the commands and my client doesn't know which is the status of relay
I restart the client and it works for 2 or 3 times again
I use same program with others kincony device from 2 years and I don't have problem, they works very well
I saw another thing, If I disable wifi and I save changes It stay on after restart (I don't use wifi connection but it's just to inform you)

do you means: you have some KC868-A8 board, same program code, one A8 board have this issue, others work well?

Yes, I have maybe 8 kincony device (all configured in server mode) that manage my home from 2 or 3 years
I add A8 as last device but I have this problem
I make a small programm that turn on and off relay 7 every 1 sec
In the back you can see the web page of the device, 2 thinks:
1 I revecive the sent message in maybe all reply (just first reply not include the sent message)
2 Client is disconnected after problem
For connection I use synapse library

can you change to 2s for testing, more delay time.
