I've got my A8 nicely working with ESPHome and HomeAssistant with a variety of dry-contact inputs (contact-sensors, etc).
I'm trying to have one of the outputs of my Unifi DoorHub so that when my unifi G3 doorbell button is pressed, the doorhub's "chime" functionality is used to send a signal, via my Kincony 868-A8 to home assistant to take various actions (to alert anyone in the house that the doorbell is ringing).
As far as I understand, and have measured, the Unifi doorHub will increase the voltage on its output from 0V to 12V for a few seconds when this happens.
I've wired that to my Kincony A8 (both the normal digital inputs 1-8 and the S3/S4), but neither seems to trigger anything. (Note "wired" = tied unifi common output to Kincony GND, and the Unifi NO output (which switches from 0V to 12V) to either D1 or S3.
How do I get the A8 to see a voltage shift from 0 to 12V as a 0->1 binary sensor? What wiring and/or ESPHome code is needed to achieve this?
thanks for any help...
Vince.
