KC868-A8V3 and ESPHome firmware
#1
Question: According to the description, the KC868-A8v3 board has an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U (N16R8) installed, right?
According to the datasheet, it is built around the ESP32-S3 series of SoCs, Xtensa® dual-core 32-bit LX7 microprocessor, flash up to 16 MB,
and PSRAM up to 16 MB, so 16 MB is installed!
Do I need to specify this in the configuration?

esp32:
 board: esp32dev
 flash_size: 16MB
 framework:
   type: esp-idf

esp32:
  board: esp32-s3-devkitc-1
  framework:
    type: arduino

An article worth reading on this topic can be found at-> https://community.home-assistant.io/t/es...wto/652601

Does Kincony also have a recommendation or an adapted/revised configuration? (esphome)?

if you use home assistant, suggest download KCS v3 firmware, integrate to home assistant by mqtt auto discovery, it's easy.

HEllo, I am trying to flash the KCS_A8V3_V3.15.0.bin firmware to my Kincony KC868-A8-V1.5 board. It flash but does not boot up. What did I do wrong? I flashed with v2 it works but limited features. Can this board flash with the latest KCS_A8V3_V3.15.0.bin firmware???

A8 old pcb only use by KCS v2, can't use by KCS v3.
A8v3 board made by ESP32S3 CPU, it use by KCS v3 firmware.
