Driver recommendation for 24V LED strip
#1
Hi
I want to control and dim 24v LED strips using a controller like KC868-A4S. I'm looking for any recommendations for drivers.

I've tried Meanwell ELG-200-24B. But it doesn't turn off completely.

Any inputs are appreciated.

if you want use dimmable led strip, suggest you chose KC868-D16 dimmer controller +24V power driver.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any info on how to run esphome on D16.

Additionally I prefer to have single device per area of my home and A4S with 0-10v channels, relays and inputs matches the use case perfectly... If only I could figure out how to actually use the 0-10v output correctly.

I couldn't find the schematic for D16 either. Though I'm not an expert when it comes to electronics, It would help to compare how A4S differs from D16.

Just use pca9685 module to extend your controller logical pwm outputs with I2C-bus  and PWM-shifter boards to convert low-level pwm signal to your led strip appropriate voltage . I have 10 pwm controlled channels for 24v led strips by this way. Esphome code is standard:  pca9685 platform,  LEDC platform, PWM platform
