To enable the USB 2.0 ports on the Compute Module 4, you need to edit the boot config file (/boot/config.txt) and add:
dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host
Then reboot the Pi. Now you should be able to use the built-in USB 2.0 ports!

nothing mentioned in all your videos that the USB is disable by default
please send me the config.txt file that need add and explain how can i add it to CM4 by using my current USB or through home asisstant or what?
I'm electrical power engineer not IT specialist , i feel rebuild a system from scratch and facing a lot of IT issues i didn't considered.
i assume the server when i bough , it is configured for the functionality, 4 USB ports are disable !!
what else i should knew to taking into consideration?
many hours to resolve issues i didn't expected and no way to resolve except here and one day to send , 2 nd day to reply then send then reply then explore finally the USB is disable and didn't enable from the beginning.
send the config. txt file and how i can add it to CM4 and please for customer satisfaction if more problems i had i appriciate for the 3 rd or 4 th time asking now for remote access the Anydesk to configure things and make me happy and satisfied.
