Power supply via UPS, leakage sensor, other UART devices
#1
1. Can I supply voltage to the KC868-A8S module from an uninterruptible power supply, which produces 13.8 V when powered from the mains. And what is the lower voltage threshold at which the board will stop working?

2. Can I connect any other UART device instead of the telephone module? For example PZEM-004T?

3. Can I connect the Neptune SV005 leak sensor this way? It has 12 V, in the case of a UPS 13.8 V voltage between ground and output, when triggered 0V.

Thank you!

1. i suggest you reduce 13.8v-->12v. because the relay's coin is dc12v, it's long time with 13.8v, will be hot , not good for relay life.

2. sure, if you can jump RXD,TXD to your own PZEM-007T's serial port, it's ok, just confirm the serial level whether is 3.3v level.

3. if you want digital input use dc12v is ok, not suggest to use 13.8v, you can connect several diodes in series to reduce voltage.

fine! Thank you) then try to connect such a DC-DC converter after the UPS to reduce the voltage to 12V.

yes, that's better.
