Battery Backup

Hi,

Just got one of these units. 
It will be configured to work as an alarm system using various sensors around the house. 

I have a battery from the old alarm that this unit will replace - it there any way to connected it and use it?

Will be a good option to be able to run on the battery if the power is cut.

this is a power supply automatic switch module, just wire as it's diagram, i think will be ok.
