KC868-A16 protocol_custom call rs485 using http?
#1
Hi,

How can the protocol - custom page be use to call the rs485 modbus devices attached to the RS485 AB port.
Example a hex 0106000103E8D8B4 will call the device and set it to 10v.
I try using call it using post/get the url but will get "File does not exist".

"custom protocol" define for IFTTT's "THEN" command list. it can OUTPUT, not for "IF".

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, i can get the rs485 command running correctly using ifttt run

But how can i run it using url? i tried using post/get using the  Url( optional )
but i cannot get it to run using url example as show in picture http://192.168.100.135/light1_mid (kincony A16 ip address is 192.168.100.135)
Please help, we need help to trigger the RS485 besides going to kcs admin page and click on run in the ifttt page

It will return "File does not exist" (post or get)

you can't use for that. i have said: URL can't use for "IF". URL only use for "THEN" command. URL option not use for RS485, just when you chose "HTTP" Router way to use it.
