KC868-D16 light management capabilities?
#1
Hello!
I have read a lot of information here and website and I want to clarify and understand the capabilities of the KC868-D16 for lighting control.
What are the capabilities of KS868?

1. Successfully dims LED strip at 12V,
2. Successfully dims 220V normal light bulb.
3. It dims with flickering LED dimmable bulbs 220V.

What are the options for dimming the RGBW LED strip, and color changing?

Here is the answer from the email:
"Is the dimmer controller able to manage RGB LED lights, ( stripe)?
answer: any of our ESP32 boards have GPIOs support WS2812B RGB LED stripe."

WS2812B RGB LED stripe needs 5V power suply.

Sorry, if this is not the exact place for this post.

1. do you want use a common LED strip or bulb only for change brightness?
2. or you want use RGBW addressable LED strip to change color and brightness?
if use 1, chose KC868-D16 + driver is ok.
if use 2, you can chose any KinCony KC868-A series (ESP32) board, just have "GPIO" terminal , so that you can use WS2812B LED strip.

Hello admin,
I want to use 3 types of lights:
White LED stripe switched independently by switch and motion sensor
Dimmable LED bulbs
RGBW LED stripe

also, wall switches will manage motorized curtains and roller blinds.

Hi Kincony, I'm having an issue with KC868-D16 and 220v dimmable lights with SSR.

Although lamps are dimmable, I notice a flickering in the light and dimming is not working. What do you recommend to fix the issue?

connect a capacitance 100uf/25v to SSR's 0-10v input port will be solve your problem.
