KC868-A16 IR Input
#1
Hello.

I have a KC868-A16 - Great board. I have a number of IR sensors that need to send back state via MQTT to different topics so have had to write custom sketch in Aurdino IDE.

Problem is the sensor never goes inactive. I have tested the IR with a meter and voltage drop on digital out when active and high when inactive.

KC868-A16 seems to be 12v on the input which is weird. Help please!

digital input =0v (short with GND) = TRUE
digital input =12v (not short with GND) = FALSE

I've tried everything and nothing.

Using the 3V3 from the board and Ground to the IR sensor and D0 out in to input1 nothing is working.

Can I upload sketch?

you can download KCS v2 firmware to test. short digital input with GND. if monitor webpage show GREEN color ico, that means correct.

Do you have link?

What do you mean short with ground? The IR sensor is 3v3 and shared ground?

make sure your IR sensor is dry contact signal output. you can use multi meter to test it.
