Curtain/Window Shade Controller Board
#1
I would like if you created a board that was able to drive curtains or window shades in both directions.  Very similar to a relay board https://www.kincony.com/kincony-f24-esp3...eased.html except instead of open/closed it can send voltage in either direction.  It would be best if it had a 433mhz receiver so it could learn remote codes and control curtains and shades by remote signal.  It would probably need a small LCD screen so you could select which channel you are learning and which direction (open/closed/stop).

why not chose F24? it have INTERLOCK option work for curtain, window motor. use two relay control one motor's direction.

I ordered and received my F24.  Is it possible to run ESPhome on it and use the interlock option?  Where do I get instructions for interlock and learning remote codes?

sure, if you don't download KCS v3 firmware, just config by ESPHome, here is yaml: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5520
how to use INTERLOCK option , see here: https://esphome.io/components/switch/gpio.html

Hopefully last question.  What does the wiring look like to connect one motor to two relays?  I'm guessing I need to alternate voltage and ground to the two common pins?  Can you share a diagram?  Thanks.

Hi,

It has been a while but I'm trying to get my roller shades installed.  Your video shows motors with 3 lines (F, R, COM) but my motors only have 2 lines, +/-.  You send 24v on on + and GND - to move forward.  You send 24v - and GND + to go reverse.  This is why in my original thread I asked about a being able to send voltage in either direction.  Is it possible to use this controller you recommended for this type of motor?

Hi,  I'm trying to wire my motors up using this F24 you recommended.  My motors only have 2 wires +/-.  That's why in my original post I asked about sending the voltage in either direction.  It seems like for a two wire motor I would need 4 relays for each motor and a very complicated setup? Is this correct?  Can I use the F24 as you recommended for motors with only 2 wires?

you can use 2 relay change voltage direction for one motor. suggest you create scene mode button in tuya app. such as (relay1 ON, relay2 OFF) for direction-A, (relay1 OFF, relay2 ON) for direction-B. (relay1 OFF, relay2 OFF) for STOP.
for example, see this video at 4:31 time have showed the diagram:

The relays in that video have NO and NC.  I understand if I have a NO and NC on each relay I have the 24V on Relay 1 NO and GND on Relay 2 NC.  then I do GND on Relay 1 NC and 24V on Relay 2 NO.  Then with interlock, both  relays flip the voltage flips and the motor moves in the other direction.  The F24 only has NO and COM for each relay.  Do you have an example driving a DC motor in both directions with only 2 relays from the F24?
