  Loxone RS485
Posted by: marekzerzan - 07-15-2025, 03:08 PM - Forum: KinCony integrate with Loxone home automation - Replies (16)

I noticed that Kincony also has RS485 communication, it is more difficult, but it seems safer to me without dependence on the local network.

Does anyone have experience with this integration please?

Maybe first question it's Modbus RS485 or "RAW" RS485?

I am new owner "KC868-A32M 32 Channel ESP32 MOSFET Board".
I'm currently struggling to see it on the network at all, it may have DHCP set up, but I can't see it anywhere on the network after connecting.

Bug KC686-A6 and KC868-A16 not working INPUTS
Posted by: SINUKOVS20 - 07-14-2025, 05:36 PM - Forum: Development - Replies (3)

Good afternoon, I have a problem. with  KC686-A6 and KC868-A16 panel

I installed new firmware,I connected everything and everything works.
but,On the web browser and on the phone  Only relay outputs work fully!!
like INPUT or ACD NOT!!! There are no errors, nothing. That is, they can be registered and something can be done with that.
You can make whatever you want with programming that.
the phones are not pressed either
Also, when connecting buttons or sensors, they do not give any sign of life.
Maybe there is something missing in the code Well, as I understand it, the firmware has everything included, just like in the video on the official website

What could be wrong or where is the problem please tell me ?

Thank you very much have a nice day

Need Help: SIM7600E Doesn’t Answer Call for Relay Command
Posted by: hamshini_marat - 07-14-2025, 06:38 AM - Forum: Development - Replies (3)

Hello Admin,
I’m using the ESP32-S3 2-channel relay module – KC868-A2v3 with the GSM SIM7600E, and I tried the IFTTT method to control the relay. However, when I call the number of the SIM card inserted in the GSM module, it doesn’t answer automatically so that I can type in the code with # to turn the relay on or off. Instead, the call hangs up after a few rings.
I’ve attached screenshots of my configuration using the web browser.
Could you please guide me on what I might be missing or doing wrong?

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks in advance.

With regards,
Hamshini

Posted by: fdcemb5 - 07-13-2025, 08:37 PM - Forum: DIY Project - Replies (3)

My KC868-server16 refused to boot, and it is just blinking as shown in the video. I have inserted the SD card into the standalone Raspberry Pi 4 module, and it booted. I am wondering what to do next. I have tried several times to reboot without success.

Error Flashing new KCS firmware using ESP32 Download Tool
Posted by: steven22 - 07-12-2025, 07:36 AM - Forum: KC868-A2v3 - Replies (12)

Hi everyone, I'm new to Kincony products and this forum. I recently bought a Kincony A2V3.1 board to test these products and their integration with Home Assistant.
Once the board arrived, I connected it to my router via LAN cable, but I cannot see any IP address on the A2V3 screen, nor can I find it on my network.

For this reason, I tried to reflash the KCS v3 firmware using ESP32 Download Tool V3.9.2 and entering download mode (turn off → press S2 button → turn on power → release S2).
However, when I press "start" on the ESP32 Download Tool, I get this error:

Code:
1 kill
test offset :  0 0x0
case ok
test offset :  0 0x0
case ok

no log file output ...

I already tested it with different USB cable, different PC and different power supply. But getting always same error.

Here a screenshot from ESP32 Download Tool V3.9.2:

Can you please help me debugging this issue?

regards,
Stefano

Question MCP23017 interrupt pin
Posted by: rboers - 07-09-2025, 02:03 PM - Forum: KinCony Server-Mini / Server-16 Raspberry Pi4 relay module - Replies (2)

I'm writing my own program in C/C++ and I was wondering if the interrupt pins of the MCP23017 chips are connected to the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi? If so, which GPIO pins are used?

Hello. Please help me set up the KC 868-16A KinCony TS Tiny RS485 SHT30 homeassistant bundle. I checked the sensor using a USB RS485 converter and it works. I connected it to the KC868 - 16a and can't figure out how to set it up.

Question CM5 compatible?
Posted by: rboers - 07-09-2025, 07:56 AM - Forum: KinCony Server-Mini / Server-16 Raspberry Pi4 relay module - Replies (1)

I really like this server, but the CM4 is a bit slow for my project.
Can a CM5 module be used in the Server-16 server?
If not, will there be a CM5 compatible Server-16 in the near future?

How to configure HTTP post for Webhook
Posted by: land88 - 07-08-2025, 08:40 AM - Forum: KC868-A16S - No Replies

Hi,

My KC868A16s is connected to internet with LAN port, WIFI off (LAN IP 192.168.1.200, mask 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.1.1).

It get the Board time to internet, no problem, so I think the KC is really connected to internet, it is not behind a firewall.

In custom protocol, I create Custom1, with :

"routeur = HTTP POST", "HEX : Empty", "Message :Empty" and "URL(Otional)= https://xxxx.synology.me/api/webhook/Tem...AT_G_21deg", this url is my webhook that is open on internet

With a Pc connected to internet, in chrome  this url turn on my webhook on my home assistant (boolean ON), but if I run the custom1 in IFFTT, I get "success" on KC but in reality Nothing appears to my home assistant.

An other isue, when I run this custom protocol, I loose the connection to the board, so I must reboot the board to local access to the web interface !

I think I have an issue to configure this custom protocol.

Can you help me ?

Thanks.
